Mr. Gil da Costa Alves (middle), Minister of Tourism, Trade and Industry is signing the Sao Paulo declaration in the CPLP Ministerial Meeting in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 26th May 2010. The content of declaration itself is concerning the importance of sustainable tourism development in creating job opportunities and poverty reduction, technical cooperation and exchanging experience and information amongst Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).
