Office of Internal Audit and Inspection

1.    The Mission of the Inspection and Internal Audit Office  is to promote ethical evaluation and internal procedures and exercise disciplinary action and audit institutions and services integrated into the Ministry, as well as compliance with applicable laws and administrative regulations.

2.    The Office of Internal Audit and Inspection is headed by an inspector, assisted by two Subinspectors, appointed by the Minister and in any event be treated in the Director-General and national directors, respectively.

3.    The Office of internal audit and Inspection pursues the following assignments:

a)      Ensure the proper management of human, financial, and material resources of the Ministry;

b)      To carry out inspections, investigations, investigations and audits of nature sindicâncias disciplinary, administrative and financial department at national directorates and other services by MTCI wards;

c)      To assess the financial and administrative management of assets and services integrated into national directorates and the guardians of public services by MTCI and any corporate holdings of the State legal relationship with the Ministry, including con-tratação public;

d)      Systematize and standardize the operating procedures of internal control of the Ministry;

e)      Cooperate with other international audit services, ministerial, Inspector-General of State and Attorney-General in forwarding and investigations into illegal, unlawful, including those relating to complaints and denunciations;

f)       Verify the legality and destination of revenue and expenditure shown in the budget of the State and the funds and other public institutions, subject or sponsored by public funds and, or by the Ministry;

g)      Guide and propose corrective procedures carried out by any entities, bodies and services guardians or legal relationship with the Ministry;

h)      Receive, investigate and respond to complaints from citizens, without prejudice to the competence of other bodies inspection procedures or administrative offences;

i)        Exercise disciplinary action that prove indispensable or that is determined by the instruction or guidance establishment of disciplinary actions or omissions identified in the performance of their duties;

j)       Deliver an opinion on matters of administrative and technical nature to be submitted to it by the Minister;

k)      Propose to the Minister abou measurements of  prevention  and investigation to mismanagement, corruption, collusion and nepotism, including inspections and training services, peripherals in the tutelage and deconcentrated;

l)        Maintain and administer a database Center, for information and documentation;

m)    Submit plan and its annual activities report requirements;

n)      any other activities that are committed by the Minister or conferred by law.
