Guests House of Tutuala Hatubuiliko and Atauro wil be refurbished

The tourist places in Timor-Leste are attractive and original. From these places if they are refurboshed and improved, can attract many tourists from other countries in the world to visit and contribute revenue and benefits for our people and for the state.

Therefore there is already the priority plan for this year, set  by the Government through the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry (MTCI), National Directorate of Tourism (DNT) that will refurbish  the guest´s houses of  Tutuala, Hatubuilico and Atauro.

These resorts have been investigated by DNT  and budget has already been approved in the National Parliament, including the decentralized development program (PDD), which will be directly controlled by the Prime Minister.

The existing priority scheme, is also included the support granted by the DNT in the community tourism area, so that it will develop more the initiative from the community  to promote the tourist spots within the territory and attract more foreign tourists.

"We think, for better be more involved in the development of tourist spots in East Timor, do we really need the contribution of the Timoreese people ," stressed the head of promotion and tourism DNT, Aquelino Santos Caero. Media MTCI/Kandhi Barnez
