Quatro funcionários da Direcção Nacional de Turismo ( MTCI ) frequentaram o curso de Gestão e turismo em Macau e em Hainan, Província da China,  durante duas semanas. este curso teve início no dia 29 de março a 8 da Abril de 2011. Os participantes  foram directores gerais e directores nacionais dos paises da língua Portuguesa. Sr. José Quintas representou a Direcção Nacional de turismo de Timor-Leste.

Este curso foi organizado pela Secretaria  Permanente do Forum de  Comércio e Económico entre China e Países da língua Portuguesa  e a Universidade de Macau. Os participantes vieram de oito países, tais como Timor-Leste, Portugal, cabo-verde, Guinea-Bissau, Brasil, Angola, Moçambique e Macau.

O objectivo príncipal deste curso é partilhar ideias  e experiências entre países membros de Língua Portuguesa e particularmente ve a questão de turismo como contribuidor para o crescimento económico em termos de política e estratégia de governo. O governo macaense  e da o Proviíncia de Hainan támbem  forneceu a informação como a indústria de turismo contribuiu para a economia nacional e criou muitas ofertas de emprego.
